Seniors Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time)
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church – Nanaimo, BC

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is seeking a compassionate and relational Seniors Outreach Coordinator to help older adults—especially those experiencing isolation or illness—remain connected to the life of our church and flourish in their faith.

This role focuses on building relationships, coordinating care, connecting seniors with congregational and community supports, and helping create opportunities for fellowship and spiritual encouragement.

Position Details

  • Hours: ~7.5 hours per week

  • Compensation: $25–$32/hour (based on experience and education)

  • Location: Nanaimo, BC

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a heart for older adults and their spiritual well-being

  • Is relational, organized, and a good communicator

  • Can work collaboratively with volunteers and ministry teams

  • Is able to connect seniors with appropriate church and community resources

The role includes visiting and connecting with seniors, coordinating outreach and events, supporting care ministries, and helping ensure no one in our church community slips through the cracks.

Children’s Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time)
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church – Nanaimo, BC

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is seeking a creative and relational Children’s Outreach Coordinator to help nurture a vibrant ministry for children ages 3–11.

This role focuses on creating a welcoming environment where children can explore faith in Jesus through engaging learning, meaningful relationships, and joyful community. The coordinator will work with volunteers and families to implement curriculum, support children’s spiritual growth, and help develop outreach events that connect families with the church.

The position involves coordinating volunteers, preparing curriculum and materials, supporting parents in faith formation at home, and helping build bridges with families in our surrounding community.

This is a part-time position (10 hours per week) with compensation of $25–$32/hour, depending on education and experience.

We are looking for someone who loves children, communicates well with families, enjoys organizing teams and events, and has a heart for helping young people grow in faith.

Teens Pastor (Part-Time)
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church – Nanaimo, BC

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is seeking a relational and creative Teens Pastor to help nurture a vibrant community of disciples among youth in grades 5 through first-year university (approx. ages 12–18).

The Teens Pastor will work with parents and volunteer sponsors to build trusting relationships with young people through regular gatherings, mentoring conversations, teaching, and events that invite teens and their friends into the life of the church. This role focuses on helping teens discover Christ, grow in faith, and learn to serve God’s world with their gifts.

The position also includes equipping volunteers, supporting teens in times of challenge, and helping youth transition well into the broader life of the church.

This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) with compensation of $25–$32/hour, depending on education and experience.

We are looking for someone who loves teenagers, communicates well with young people and families, enjoys building teams, and has a heart for discipleship and mission.
