Around The Church
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24
Children’s Ministry
The children's ministry began using the Orange curriculum this year. When the children are dismissed for "kid’s church" we start with a fun, story-based video centering around biblical stories, focusing on the need for a relationship with Jesus and how we can do that. Next, a game or two reflecting and reinforcing the topic; and usually finishing up with a craft and snack. This group ranges in age between 4 & 8 yrs.
PWA
The women of our congregation meet on the first Tuesday morning of each month from September to June for fellowship and to plan fundraising and special events. Proceeds from our fundraising events are distributed to various causes both in our local community and globally. Our meetings begin with devotions and a guest speaker [when available], and we may have coffee and fellowship prior to our meeting or may have a lunch following the meeting. Please bring your talents to our active group. Our group hosts a number of amazing events throughout the year. These may include:
Pancake lunch on Shrove Tuesday, Fall/Christmas sale with crafts, preserves and home baking, Advent worship service, written and led by members of our group.
Notices re our upcoming events can be found on the Church website and in the weekly bulletins.
In addition to the above activities, it is a privilege and an honour for us to provide receptions for grieving families following a memorial service held in the church.
The PWA is an active and growing group of over 20 women who enjoy fellowship together. We are grateful to God for our opportunities to serve St. Andrew’s Nanaimo.

UpperLVL Worship
“UpperLVL Worship is a downtown Nanaimo church-plant, hosted within LevelTwo Nightclub. We’re passionate in creating a welcoming space for people to experience the awesomeness of God together, while building genuine community in a nightclub setting.
Doubters, the spiritually-curious, and those whose hearts are on fire for Jesus can all grab a seat together to experience DJ’d hip-hop and EDM worship sets and down-to-earth Biblical preaching, laced with thoughtful and open discussions where questions are encouraged.
