Advent Worship Playlist

For the past 13 years during the month of December, I’ve posted daily Advent and Christmas music as a sort of musical advent calendar. It may not be your preferred style (it leans quite classical!) but if it can offer you a few moments of life-giving reflection. You can find posts daily by clicking the button below!

Listen to this advent playlist of seasonal worship music that our wonderful worship team has put together for you this season.

Isaiah 7:14 NIV

14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Gifts of Change

From the Gifts of Change catalogue (available in the foyer or church office) you may select from the many projects to further the work of Presbyterian World Service and Development. You can give a little or you can give more, you can support overseas projects or projects in Canada. More detailed information will be coming in the FYI. For more info ask Barbara Waine (barwai07@telus.net)

Our Christmas Missions

It is getting cold out there and wet.  It is very important for folks to keep their feet warm and dry.  So we are asking you to bring some pairs of new socks to share.  We need socks for men, women and children.  They will be distributed to Haven House (shelter for women and children), Island Crisis Care Society - housing and outreach to men and women, and various warming centres.

Your thoughtfulness will be much appreciated.  Last year we delivered over 100 pairs of socks.  Let's Sock it to Them again this year!

A basket will be in the foyer each week up until December 22.
